100 Readers, Tutors, & Mentors

We all win when young people succeed in school. That’s why United Way is inviting people to LIVE UNITED as a volunteer reader, tutor or mentor.  Research proves that caring volunteers working with students of all ages, have the power to boost academic achievement and put young people on track for a bright future. That’s why United Way Worldwide launched this historic new effort to recruit one million new volunteer readers, tutors and mentors.  Find out how you can help us reach our local goal of recruiting 100 new volunteers for education.

So far we have 80 new volunteers signed-up to impact education!!  We are well on our way to reaching our goal of 100 new readers, tutors, and mentors!  Because of our volunteer efforts, many youth will be on track for success in school, work, and life.
