Dear Community Partner,
One of United Way’s continuing objectives is to
make sure that we stay attuned to ever-changing community needs
and to make sure our programs and funding stay relevant in order
to provide solutions. Our Strategic Planning Process accomplishes
this by gathering community input on opportunities for both United
Way and the overall community.
I believe this "voice of the community",
as
represented within these pages, is not only a
powerful road map for our United Way’s future mission, but should
also be a relevant assessment for all of our community partners:
social agencies, business, government, education, and all
concerned citizens.
For United Way, our Strategic Plan helps to
determine the primary problem-areas of the community. While
continuing to support broad-based programs, we will need to
consider shifting resources to focus on newly identified key
challenges.
Our United Way will continue its steadfast
commitment to effective stewardship of the resources you provide
your donations and your volunteerism. Thank you for standing with
