Non-Profit Partnership
The Non-Profit Partnership is a collaboration between Dalton State College School of Business, Hamilton University, Minor, Bell, and Neal Law Firm, Shaw Learning Academy, and United Way of NWGA which delivers organizational development to non-profit agencies in Northwest Georgia.
All workshops (unless otherwise noted) will be held in the United Way office conference room, located at 816 S Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA. You must be currently employed by or represent in a volunteer capacity: a non-profit organization, non-profit or public school, or government agency to participate in these workshops. Registrations are taken on first come, first serve basis.

Board Best Practices
When: Tuesday, June 21, 2011, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., a program on “Board Best Practices”
Where: United Way of Northwest Georgia in the conference room, 816 S Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA.
What: This program will give participants an overview of best practices of non- profit board structure, conduct, and development. The information is intended to provide general guidelines to agencies and their representatives to facilitate development of training materials for their own Boards.
HR Update: Documenting Disciplinary Issues
When: Wednesday, September 28 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
