United Way Youth Council
The United Way Youth Council is open to Whitfield County Youth between the ages of 13-18. As a council member, students will learn about how to improve the community through volunteering. In addition, students will also have the opportunity to develop and improve their leadership skills.

Youth Council meetings are held every other Monday at the United Way office (located at 816 South Thornton Ave.) at 4:00 p.m.

Volunteer Vacation
Join us on February 21st & 22nd for the next Volunteer Vacation!

Want to help make a difference in your community? United Way hosts several Volunteer Vacations each year. These programs are designed for youth ages 13-21 year olds. Volunteer Vacations are held during Fall Break, Christmas Break, Mid-Winter Break, and Summer Break. Youth are able to get involved in local volunteer projects and make a difference in our community while having fun! Registration is required and lunch is provided for participants. 2012 Youth Volunteer Awards
The United Way-Kiwanis Youth Awards Banquet will be held April 30, 2012. Individual and group volunteers will be honored for their commitment to serving and dedication to volunteerism. If you know a youth volunteer or group of youth volunteers nominate them for a United Way-Kiwanis Award for Volunteerism. Nomination forms are due by March 16th.
