Women's Leadership Council Holiday Social 2019 Recap

The Women’s Leadership Council is a group of women truly generous in heart and spirit who bring vision, energy, talent, and creativity to improve lives in our community and create lasting change.

This year’s WLC Holiday Social took place on the night of December 5, 2019 to ring in the season at the home of Elizabeth Caperton.

The night was filled with laughter and sweet memories. There was a variety of delicious hors d'oeuvres, sweets, and a spread that will fulfill any charcuterie lover’s dreams.

Around 50 ladies gathered to enjoy the company of other women who want to better their community and help build better futures.

Ladies brought donations of scarves and gloves to be donated to those in need in our community.

Amanda Burt and Amy Ross spoke to the group to thank them for their generosity and for being members of Women’s Leadership Council.

The atmosphere was all fun and festive and such a great way to start the holiday season.

The next big WLC event will be the Annual Spring Symposium featuring Southern author and designer, James T. Farmer.
