Power of the Purse

"POP" is one of United Way of Northwest Georgia’s signature events, bringing together hundreds of local women who are passionate about strengthening our community through giving, advocating, and volunteering in support of literacy initiatives and United Way programs.

This inspiring event blends fun, fashion, and philanthropy through a lively luncheon experience featuring fabulous purse raffles, exciting prizes, meaningful connection, and an empowering keynote speaker. Women from across our community gather to celebrate, encourage one another, and make a lasting impact - one purse at a time.

Hosted annually by the Women’s Leadership Council, Power of the Purse helps support programs and partnerships that are creating brighter futures for children and families across Northwest Georgia.
