United Way's Focus on Youth Opportunity

Feeling unsure – finding confidence

Long-term success, for both children and parents, begins with access to quality early learning and youth development programs. From early childhood education and child care to after-school enrichment, these resources help kids reach academic milestones and empower parents to pursue financial stability.

We remove barriers to success by advancing what works: early literacy, school readiness, after-school and summer programs, college and career prep, and family engagement. Together, we’re building a future where every child can thrive and every young person can reach their full potential.

Helping young people succeed strengthens families, neighborhoods, and our entire community. Through education, enrichment, and support, United Way is preparing the next generation to lead.

Every summer, United Way partners with local school systems, volunteers, and community leaders to give FREE books to hundreds of children and their families in our local community.
