Backpack Buddies

This page is for those who cannot volunteer on September 21st but would like to donate $25 for supplies, OR for those that do not have time to buy their supplies but are volunteering on September 21st.

Septemer 21st - Backpack Buddies – Bring bags, hygiene items, toys, books, colors, and coloring books to create Backpack Buddies on September 21st from 1:00  - 2:00 p.m. at United Way! Backpack Buddies will be donated to children in the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program. When children are removed from their home and come into foster care, they often come in without any belongings. Many times the belongings they do have are in a garbage bag. We want to make a difference in the lives of these children and need your help

Drop these items off at United Way anytime from NOW – September 19th: Underwear, diapers, blankets, toys, stuffed animals, books, snacks, hygiene items, pajamas, and socks.
